NNEKA has been nominated for the 5th Annual NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS (NEA) in 2 categories:
1) INDIGENOUS ARTIST OF THE YEAR
2) BEST SOUL/NEO SOUL ACT OF THE YEAR
The Ceremony takes place on September 18th in New York, USA.

Nneka is back with another fantastic track titled 'Viva Africa'. The song is featured on the Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album, 'Listen Up', with all proceeds for each track and the album benefiting the Official 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign and other African charities selected by the participating artists on the album.
Viva Africa is now available to buy through the Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album. There will also be a digital bundle released on June 20th featuring both Viva Africa and a new version of Heartbeat featuring Nas.

Nneka has a new song, "Viva Africa," that is featured on LISTEN UP! The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album. All proceeds from the song and album will benefit the official 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign, "20 Centers for 2010," and other African charities selected by the participating artists on the Album.

Nigerian-born singer-songwriter to hit the road with Nas and Damian Marley starting May 22nd
New York - Nneka has been announced as the support act for the historic Distant Relatives Tour with Nas and Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley hitting the road May 2010. The tour will stop in major cities across the country in support of their Distant Relatives album, which is a celebration of not only to the bond between the two artists, but the connection to their African ancestry, which inspired the album both musically and lyrically.

The wait is finally over for Nneka fans! The next single, 'Walking', from the fantastic album 'No Longer At Ease' will be released digitally this Sunday (28th March).
Walking is already available to purchase from all online retailers however Sunday will see the release of a few added extras! There will be a fantastic new remix by Farhot and for those that want even more then head to iTunes on Sunday to pick up an exciting new exclusive version of Walking!
